第一次听说《大闷》,是在1982年艺校刚毕业进梨园戏实验剧团的时候。听前辈们陈述,《大闷》是七个晚上才能演完的梨园戏代表剧目《陈三》当中的一折,五十分钟的旦角独角戏,其难其闷,人人皆知,通常是到夜深人静时刻才得以开演。这折戏对演员的功夫很是挑剔,形、姿、唱、念,做功俱全,并兼备有老道的舞台经验的角儿,方可能完成该戏,一系列特定的梨园戏表演程式,如众所皆知的梨园科步——
