现代中国第三势力以追求自由、民主、宪政为目标,试图在国共之间走出第三条道路,其政治选择对现代中国的历史发展进程有一定影响,然学界对其缺乏认真、系统的研究。“九.一八”前第三势力宪政运动是以平社为核心,在当时历史背景下,要求保障人权、实行宪政,第一次公然打出反党治、反训政的旗帜,具有很大的进步意义。“九.一八”前的第三势力宪政运动是对国民党专政统治极具意义的抗争,是中国现代史上宪政运动的肇始。
In pursuit of freedom, democracy and constitutional government, the Third Forces of Modern China tried to go a third way between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party. Under the historical background of the time, the constitutional movement with the third power required to guarantee human rights and implement constitutional government. The Third Forces Before the Sept. 18 Constitutional Movement is a struggle that is of great significance to the Kuomintang’s dictatorship and is the beginning of the constitutional government movement in the modern history of China.
