At present, the debate on whether labor in the tertiary industry creates value is fierce. In my opinion, the key to answering the question of whether labor in the tertiary industry creates value scientifically lies in the grasping of the concept of value. If, as Mr. Wu Yi-feng does according to the conventional wisdom, the value is undifferentiated human labor condensed in commodities or abstract human labor, then it is inevitable that the labor belonging to the material sector in the tertiary industry creates value belonging to The labor in the non-physical sector does not create value; if the insistence on the labor in the non-physical sector in the tertiary industry creates value, it abandons the notion of value. ① In my opinion, this traditional understanding of the concept of value does not accord with the original intent of the founder of the Scientific Labor Theory of Value or the development of China’s economy. The conclusion drawn from this is that labor in the non-physical sector in the tertiary industry does not create value Also debatable.
