最近,非洲开发银行和联合国非洲经济委员会在其分别发表的《1995年非洲发展报告》和《1995年非洲经济和社会形势报告》中均宣布,1994年非洲经济增长率为2.4%,为非洲进入90年代以来经济增长率最高的一年。据非洲经济委员会的报告称,在非洲52个国家中,8个国家经济增长在6%以上,11个国家经济增长在3—6%之间,21个国家经济增长在0—3%之间。经济负增长的国家则从1993年的18个减至12个。该报告还预测,1995年非洲经济还会呈继续增长态势,经济增长率估计能达到3%。
