通过对定向运动的起源、运动项目的特点和其自身的价值以及社会发展对大学生整体素质的要求和高校体育教学改革趋势的综合分析,指出高校开展定向运动应有选择地进行,选择具有开展条件的学校进行,学校选择具有条件的学生进行。开展定向运动要充分考虑自身存在的安全隐患,以利于其在高校中顺利开展。
