The pattern of occurrence and development of agriculture and settlement in the Near East has been universally acknowledged since it was introduced ten years ago. This model relies on the evidence obtained in the archeology and other aspects of the 1960s that it has been incorporated into teaching materials and has become a principle of archaeologists’ interest in discussing the origin of agriculture in the Near East. More than a decade has passed, and further research shows that the pattern of custom needs to be changed substantively. The purpose of this article is to demonstrate the negation of new material by new materials and to try to come up with a new model that is more in line with the new materials we currently have. And then re-use of this new model for the future study of agricultural social structure in the East pointed out some of the directions.
