高平,浙江省海宁县人。地质学家。1932年北京大学地质系毕业后,历任前实业部地质调查所调查员、技士,主要在江西、浙江、湖南、广东、河北等省从事区域地质及煤、铁、锰、钨等矿产调查,个人及与他人合作发表了《中国北部震旦纪地层》、《江西省玉山广丰两县煤田地质》、《江西西部地质》、《浙江中部地质》、《湖南湘乡县煤田地质》、《广东省紫金县宝山峰铁矿》、《中国东南部中生代末期花岗岩分布与地质构造关系》等论著。
Gao Ping, Haining County, Zhejiang Province. geologist. After graduating from the Department of Geology of Peking University in 1932, he served as an investigator and technician of the former Ministry of Industry Geological Survey. He was mainly engaged in regional geology and coal, iron, manganese, tungsten, and other mineral surveys in Jiangxi, Zhejiang, Hunan, Guangdong, and Hebei provinces. Cooperated with others to publish “Sinian Strata in Northern China”, “Coalfield Geology in Guangfeng County, Jiangxi Province”, “Geology in Western Jiangxi”, “Zhejiang Central Geology”, “Hunan Xiangxiang County Coalfield Geology”, and “Guangdong Province “Provincial Zijin County, Baoshan Peak Iron Ore”, “China’s Southeastern Part of the Mesozoic Granite Distribution and Geological Structural Relationships,” and others.
