The characteristics and main progresses of aviation wheat noodle protection technology are summarized. Boric acid · sulfuric acid anodizing, zinc-nickel alloy plating, thermal barrier coating and fluorine-containing coating are mainly introduced. Aviation surface protection technology has many features. For example, aircraft generally use materials that have a lower specific strength than those of high strength metal, which increases the risk of fatigue failure and brittle fracture under harsh conditions of use
