国审水稻新品种玉稻518是以盐粳334-6为母本,津星1号为父本进行杂交自育的新品系新稻03518,通过离子束诱变获得变异植株,采用系谱法选育而成。该品种于2012年、2013年参加黄淮粳稻组品种区域试验,2年平均单产10 181.55kg/hm2,比对照徐稻3号增产7.73%。玉稻518株高102.9cm,全生育期155.4d,具有高产优质抗病广适等优点,适宜河南沿黄及信阳、山东南部、江苏淮北、安徽沿淮及淮北地区种植。于2015年通过国家农作物品种审定委员会审定。经多年栽培示范集成了一套高产优质高效栽培技术。
