电磁铸造自６０年代末问世以来，引起了人们的广泛注意，并得到迅速发展。目前，铝合金的电磁铸造已大规模投入工业性生产．铜的电磁铸造正处于研究开发阶段。国外已有人着手研究钢的电磁铸造与水平电磁铸造。美国ＧＥ公司已开发出引上式电磁铸造法，采用电磁铸造生产造平机叶片的方法已被提出．
Since the advent of electromagnetic casting since the late 1960s, it has aroused widespread attention and has been rapidly developed. At present, the electromagnetic casting of aluminum alloy has been put into large-scale industrial production. Electromagnetic casting of copper is in the research and development stage. Foreign people have begun to study the electromagnetic casting of steel and horizontal electromagnetic casting. The United States GE company has developed a lead on the electromagnetic casting method, the use of electromagnetic casting manufacturing blade machine method has been proposed.
