Kelp polysaccharides are hot water extracts of kelp and have antitumor and antiviral effects. According to reports in the literature, most plant polysaccharides have immunomodulatory effects. Therefore, we studied the immunocompetence of Laminaria japonica polysaccharides and provided experimental basis for the comprehensive development and utilization of kelp. 1 Materials and Methods 1 1 Laminaria Polysaccharide Commercially available dry kelp was washed in a boiling water bath for 2h, concentrated and added with a volume fraction of 95%.
