Objective To explore the correlation between acute pancreatitis and dyslipidemia in pregnancy and provide reference for clinical practice. Methods Ten patients with pregnancy complicated with acute pancreatitis admitted between June 2012 and May 2013 were selected as the observation group. Ten healthy pregnant women with the same prenatal period of the same gestational age were selected as the control group. Their total cholesterol and triglycerides were compared. Results Compared with the control group, the patients in the observation group had higher total cholesterol and triglyceride values, the difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion Pregnant women in pregnancy, if hyperlipidemia occurs, the incidence of pancreatitis is higher than that of normal pregnant women, but the early examination of pregnant women, early treatment of hyperlipidemia is the key to prevent pancreatitis.
