杨志玖老先生,回族。现任南开大学历史系教授、博士生导师,兼任《中国历史大辞典》主编、《历史教学》副主编。杨老先生平生致力隋唐史、元史、回族史、中西交通史,中国土地制度史等领域的研究和教学,著作甚多,在国内外学术界享有盛誉。应本刊邀请,杨老先生撰写《元代回族史稿》,全书初步拟订有绪言和正文10章,即:回回一词的起源和演变,回回人的东来和分布,回回人的社会地位,回回人与元代政治,回回人的经济活动,回回人在文化上的贡献,回回人的华化及其成就,回回人的社会生活,回回人与各族人的关系、结语。以上各章由杨老先生陆续撰写,本刊陆续发表,请读者注意收读。全书完稿之后,争取单印成册,以飨读者。
Mr. Yang Chi Jiu, Hui. Incumbent Nankai University professor of history, doctoral tutor, part-time “Chinese history Dictionary” editor, “history teaching” associate editor. Mr. Yang Lao lives a lifetime dedicated to research and teaching in the fields of Sui and Tang dynasties, Yuan Shi, Hui history, Chinese and Western traffic history, history of China’s land system and many other books. He enjoys a good reputation in academia at home and abroad. At the invitation of this magazine, Mr. Yang Lao wrote the History of the Hui Dynasty in the Yuan Dynasty.
