长叶香橙由中国农业科学院柑桔研究所、重庆市江津区银丰园艺场普通长叶橙芽变优系选育而成,2014年通过重庆市审定。适宜在甜橙相似生态产区推广发展,尤其适宜在三峡库区作为鲜食与加工兼用品种推广。生产中可选择枳、枳橙和资阳香橙等作为砧木,但在碱性紫色土地区,宜选用资阳香橙作砧木。成熟期为12月下旬,果实耐贮藏。可留树
