以布衣终其一生的孟浩然,在居家襄阳和徜徉山水之时,运用移情、拟人等手法,创作了大量的吟咏闲适生活的诗篇。孟浩然的咏闲诗,是他悠闲的田园生活的真实写照,反映了他在儒释道三教融合思想影响下,对恬淡、闲静、闲和的文化意境和美好心性的追求。
