美国综合音乐感教学法又称美国综合音乐素质教育或发掘创造力教学法,它包括音乐共同性因素原则、音乐实践性原则、综合性教学三大原则。该教学法的的产生有其特定的时代背景。作为目前世界范畴内颇具影响力的四大音乐教育体系之一,它为各国教育事业的发展起到十分重要的作用。美国综合音乐感教学法主要通过构成音乐共同性因素进行音乐教育,因而具有总体性、综合性的体系体系特征。在实施音乐教育的过程中,这一方法体系非常重视培养学生的创新意识与创新能力,同时要求教育者在教学过程中结合音乐史、音乐理论进行音乐素质培养,并抓住五个要素,按十六个周期安排,使受教育者的音乐素质呈螺旋形上升和提高。美国综合音乐感教学法在理论和实践上取得了许多成功的经验,因此,对我国的钢琴教育,尤其是中学阶段音乐教育及其发展改革具有很大的启迪和借鉴意义。
