1. INTRODUCTION In the past, many studies have been conducted to improve the r-value of ultra-low carbon steel for deep drawing. Among them, in recent years, from the viewpoint of economical sheet production process, hot rolling in the ferrite zone (a zone) is being vigorously carried out to improve the deep drawability of the steel sheet. In the hot rolling, since the friction between the roll and the steel plate is generally large (μ = 0.2 to 0.4), shear deformation of the steel sheet surface and non-uniform deformation in the thickness direction occur.
