The analysis of Chinese discourse shows that the object represented by zero type is not always the exact one, and the object it refers to has some ambiguity. In addition to the usual fingerlessness and generalization, the fuzziness it refers to is also manifested in the presence of two or more categories of objects. The objects to be referred to are taboo, the semantic meaning is ambiguous, the grammatical relations and the fuzzy logical relations aspect. Ambiguity in the structure of the sentence is one of the reasons for this. In addition, the vagueness of the zero form itself, the fuzziness of the language itself, the user’s logical thinking habits and subjective intent are the causes. The discussion of the related issues not only helps to understand more deeply the phenomenon of zero-pointing and the ambiguity of reference in Chinese, but also causes the rethinking of the way of confirming the back-pointing.
