国家自然科学基金委员会于１９８６年成立，今年将迎采建委十五周年。十五年来，基金委员会管理科学共批准资助了近２０００ 项科学基金项目。目前，每年均有了１５０项左右的面上项目和若干重点项目结题。从１９９７年起，管理科学部对结题项目实施了绩效评估，即由评审组专家在项目结题一年后，根据其发表论文与专著、创新程度、社会效果与学术价值等要素进行综合评价，评出了一批优秀成果。 这些优秀成果不仅对促进管理科学的学科建设具有重要的意义；而且对指导我国 科学研究与教学，对企事业单泣的管理实践以及社会经济宏观决策与管理均会产生一定的积极作用，其中，有些应历基础性的研究成果具有较好的可操作性，可直接管理实践中。 这些优秀成果多具有研究基础扎实、研究技术路线与方法特色明显、研究人员的工作作风和治学态度严谨认真等共同特点，值得从事理科科研人员学习与借鉴。 我们在本期选用了真中的部分研究成果，希望不仅能有助于提高管理层的理论水平；他希望能丰富并开拓读者的视野。
