我们交流思想,表情达意不但要表达得清楚明白,还应该表达得生动形象,富有感染力,这就要求我们根据不同的内容和语境,选择最恰当、最完美的形式以收到最佳的交际效果,这就是修辞问题。 什么是修辞呢? 修辞就是依据题旨情景,运用各种语文材料,各种表现手法,恰当地表现作(说)者所要表达的内容的一种活动。 人们都在自觉不自觉地进行着修辞活动,只是有的人不觉得罢了。如售货员对顾客的挑剔不满时会说,“烦死了”,在挤公共汽车时,人们会说:“挤死了”,天气热时会说,“热死了”,死了没有呢?没有。这不过是一种夸张的说法,这就是运用了修辞的手段。当然,作为一门学问,并不是会说“烦死了”、“挤死了”、“热死了”就等于学会修辞了,就象你会读A、B、C,却不等于你就会英语一样。
