自我指涉即文本的自我显现。柯马丁将自我指涉理论运用于历史文本中的诗歌解读。柯氏认为历史文本中的诗歌为该历史的浓缩,史书与诗歌具有了互文性,从而构建了史书内诗歌的自我指涉式体系。结合口头表演理论,柯马丁认为历史文本中诗歌的自我指涉体现为套语与表演;作者的自我指涉性也以形式和角色的角度得以分析;通过自我指涉的叙事方式,文本体现了记忆思维,个体性与历史性得以融合,具有了传承历史的他指性。
Self-reference is the self-manifestation of the text. Comatan applies self-referential theory to the interpretation of poetry in historical texts. Koch thinks that the poems in the historical texts are concentrated in the history, and the history books and poems have the intertextuality, thus constructing the self-referring system of the poems in the history books. In combination with the theory of oral performances, Komatin believes that the self-referential of poetry in historical texts is embodied as a set of words and performances.
