分类是认识事物、区别事物的一种思维方法,是人们思维活动的一种本能。人们认识事物,是由分类开始的。通过对事物的分类,把相同的与不同的事物区别开来;通过分类,把同一事物的不同层次区别开来。事物由于自身的本质特征区别于其它事物而独立成为一类,一切事物都可以进行分类。“别则有别,至于无别然后止”。“方以类聚,物以群分,同牵条属,其理相贯,杂而不越,据形系联,引向申之,以究万物”。
Classification is a kind of thinking method of understanding things and distinguishing things. It is an instinct of people’s thinking activities. People know things, is the beginning of the classification.
