Recently, Su Rong-yu, a researcher at the Institute of Natural History of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, studied the bronze casting with a rivet-head structure in the Shang dynasty and found that there is a commercial southern element in the origins of the Yin Dynasty bronze ware in Anyang. The case study may provide new ideas and perspectives for the bronze dating and origin research. The main objects of the study include three pieces of pots belonging to the late Shang period, one piece of bamboo and one piece of rare Yi, three pieces of bird of prey during the period of the Shang and Shang dynasties, . By studying the evolution of casting processes and types of these 10 artifacts, the technical heritage among them and the clear pedigree can be listed.
