§1 序言S波速度是用来表示土的动力性质的一个重要物理量,特别是在地震的情况下表征地基的反应更是如此。现场测定 S 波速度方法的研究,近年来虽有很大发展,但其普及程度仍不够充分。目前所用的 S 波测定方法,在现场需作一些专门的判断,因此,具有专门知识的人还必须熟悉现场作业。倘能使现场作业简化,建立起不需要专门知识就可进行测定的方法,那么,S 波的测定无疑会得到充分的普及。
§1 Introduction The S wave velocity is an important physical quantity used to represent the dynamic nature of the soil, especially in the case of earthquakes that characterize the response of the foundation. Although the research on the method of measuring S-wave velocity in the field has been greatly advanced in recent years, its popularity is still insufficient. The S wave measurement method currently used requires some special judgment at the site. Therefore, people with specialized knowledge must also be familiar with the site operations. If it is possible to simplify on-site operations and establish methods that can be measured without the need for specialized knowledge, the S wave measurement will undoubtedly be fully popularized.
