进入新世纪,台商掀起了第三波投资大陆的热潮,海峡两岸经济合作与经贸关系进入一个新的发展阶段。2001年以来,台湾岛内投资环境持续恶化,加上受到美国“9·11”恐怖袭击事件的影响,台湾经济景气不断下挫。而同时,祖国大陆经济保持稳定增长,入世所带来的潜在商机,吸引着越来越多的台湾企业赴大陆投资设厂。随着大陆区域经济发展与开发重心的转变,台商投资大陆出现了新的变化,呈现出以下几种特点:
