初中英语新课程标准指出,基础阶段英语课程的任务是激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣,使学生形成一定的综合语言运用能力,培养学生的想象能力和创新精神,拓展学生的视野,为学生的终身学习和发展打下良好的基础。但目前的初中英语教学,尤其是农村初中英语教学,由于受到教学设备、师资力量、教学观念、教学方法、学生基础等多种因素的影响,难以实现课堂教学的有效性。因此,如何提高初中英语教学的效率成为教育工作者亟待思考和解决的问题。
