《十二美人图》是清宫旧藏的一套十二幅的清代宫廷画家创作的工笔重彩人物画,现藏故宫博物院。十二幅作品组成一套图屏,以单幅绘单人的形式,分别描绘了身着汉服的宫苑女子品茶、观书、沉吟、赏蝶等闲适的生活情景。《十二美人图》,每幅长一八四厘米,宽九四厘米,不作装裱,放在一起长度接近十二米,蔚为可观。《十二美人图》带给我们的,不仅是图像上的美的感受,其中包含的种种细节,以及隐藏于背后的谜团,都是书画研究者、宫廷历史研究者们所津乐道的。
The Twelve Beauty Images is a collection of twelve paintings collected by the court painters of the Qing Dynasty collected by the Qing court and is now collected by the National Palace Museum. Twelve pieces of works make up a set of screen drawings, depicting the leisurely life scenes of tea, book reading, pondering, and butterfly watching in the Han courties dressed in Chinese costumes. The Twelve Beauty Images, each one one hundred and eighty centimeters long and ninety-four centimeters wide, are not framed and put together for a length of nearly twelve meters. Not only the beauty of the image, the details contained therein, and the mysteries hidden behind it are all brought to us by the “Twelve Beauty Images” by painting and calligraphy researchers and court historians.
