Liu rafters, is one of the important materials for civilian buildings in northern China. Liu rafters production, the general is the use of local wood willow head wood operations, training into a “beheaded willow”, regularly from the “beheaded Liu” cut the willow rafters. This long period of production methods, Liu rafters low yield, poor quality. With the improvement of people’s living standard year after year, more and more new houses are being built. Therefore, the amount of willow rafters is also getting larger and larger, and the market price has risen steadily and in short supply. In order to solve the contradiction between supply and demand in Liuqian, in recent years, some farmers to create part of Liu Jianlin, shortening the cultivation period of Liu rafter, raising the yield and quality of Liu rafters, received good results. Preliminary practice has proved that the cultivation of Liu-rai forest is a good form of Liu-raf production and also an effective control measure for soil and water conservation in the sand-blown area of the Yellow River Plain.
