According to the UN’s International Journal of Social Science, No. 3, 1962, this collection contains published articles and unfinished manuscripts prepared for a major book on the sociology of utopia , The first two parts discuss utopian sociology and utopian psychology, respectively, directly involved in the concept itself. The first part consists of an overarching introduction and several essays that use different research methods to relate utopian themes to those of planned and technocratic themes.
