霍尔从交际和文化的关系出发,提出了高低语境文化理论,该理论被广泛应用于跨文化对比、文学等多个领域。中美两国作为高低语境文化的典型代表,他们的语言必然会呈现一定的差异,本文以霍尔的理论为框架分析中英两种语篇的差异。 Based on the relationship between communication and culture, Hall puts forward the context culture theory, which is widely used in many fields such as cross-cultural contrast and literature. As a typical representative of high and low context culture, China and the United States will inevitably have some differences in their languages. This paper analyzes the differences between the two Chinese and English discourses based on Hall’s theory.
