Dentate gyrus (DG) plays an important role in the regulation of hippocampal epilepsy activity transmission. DG plays a frequency-dependent role in the paroxysmal epileptic activity transmitted from the entorhinal cortex, whereas DG granulosa cells γ-Aminobutyric acid (GABA) can generate long-term neurons specific distribution
