日前,国家发改委正式批复淮北大堤加固工程和沙颍河近期治理工程可行性研究报告。至此,国务院确定的我省14项治淮骨干工程全部立项建设。淮北大堤上起安徽省阜阳市颍上县饶台子,下至江苏省宿迁市泗洪县下草湾,包括淮河干流左堤、颍河左堤、西淝河左堤、涡河左、右堤,全长647km,保护安徽、江苏17个县市的72．4万hm~2耕地、682万人和京沪、京九、阜淮铁路等设施的防洪安全,是淮河中游最重要的堤防。工程建成后,配合临淮岗洪水控制工程的运用,可使淮北大堤保护区的防洪标
