最近几年我国高校扩招的势头很猛,使得高等教育从精英教学转变为大众教育。由于学生英语水平相差甚远,给课堂教学带来了很大的困难。有些学生在课堂上根本就听不懂老师在讲什么,严重的挫伤了其学习的自信心和积极性。因而根据学生的具体情况采取分级教学的模式,并在此基础上相应调整教学材料、教学方法是当前高职院校改变尴尬的教学现状,提高教学水平的重要途径。 In recent years, the trend of expanding enrollment of universities in our country is very fierce, making the transition of elite education from elite education to mass education. Due to the different level of students’ English, it has brought great difficulties to classroom teaching. Some students in the classroom simply do not understand what the teacher is talking about, seriously dampened their learning self-confidence and enthusiasm. Therefore, according to the students’ specific situation, we should adopt the mode of grading teaching and adjust the teaching materials and teaching methods accordingly. This is an important way for vocational colleges to change the awkward teaching situation and improve the teaching level.
