当解构主义的马克思主义盛行,以利奥塔、德里达等人为首的后现代主义氛围弥漫,社会主义理论面临着巨大挑战。于此时,作为后马克思主义的理论家——阿兰·巴迪欧,以拉康精神分析理论做方法、康托尔数学集合论为基础,对利奥塔和海德格尔等人发起的挑战进行批判;重塑由真理—事件—主体构成的三位一体的巴氏本体论;高举马克思、毛泽东的社会主义大旗,批判资本主义;高举工人阶级旗帜,将共产主义作为自己理论与实践的最终归宿,巴迪欧以一种胆量和气魄续写了共产主义。于巴迪欧之研究,探讨其如何以哲学为基,构建巴氏共产主义信念。然而,巴迪欧的共产主义思想依然存在很多缺憾,往往徘徊于现实与信念之间,可谓是存在于信念与现实之间的一位布道者。
