In order to study the effect of zinc, an essential element, on the growth and development of ginseng, different concentrations of zinc were set up on the basis of Hogland culture medium (zinc deficiency) for indoor hydroponic culture. The results showed that after 10 weeks of stress, zinc deficiency (0 mmol / L) resulted in folds of ginseng leaves, short plants, and relatively low root weight of ginseng. Zinc deficiency treatment (0.003 mmol / L and 0.03 mmol / L) When the concentration of zinc was 0.3 mmol / L, the gingko leaves withered and slightly fringed at the edge of the leaves, with a few yellow spots in the middle of the leaves and the plant was very tall. When the zinc concentration was 1.5 mmol / L, Most of the deaths, and the treatment of 3 mmol / L all the deaths of ginseng, indicating that zinc stress affect ginseng normal growth and development. The results also showed that chlorophyll content of 0.03 mmol / L normal zinc was slightly lower than that of 0.003 mmol / L and 0.3 mmol / L treatment, indicating that zinc stress affected the synthesis of photosynthetic pigments. Under the condition of zinc deficiency, ginseng had the lowest activity of SOD and CAT, while the activities of SOD and CAT in the groups of 0.003 mmol / L and 0.3 mmol / L were slightly higher than that of normal zinc; POD activity decreased first and then decreased with the increase of zinc concentration Increasing trend, zinc-free treatment and excessive zinc treatment of POD activity, indicating that zinc stress causes ginseng enzyme activity in the system disorders.
