张爱玲小说人物与故事特立独行,永远不宜于大众,而电影恰恰是大众的艺术。张的小说颇难改成电影。小说《色·戒》基本被还原到电影中,影片又对原著进行再创作和充分发挥,一是对原著零碎句子的整合,二是参照张爱玲的其他作品,三是电影的再创造。影片从类型上说是通俗剧,风格上较为温情,内容上多有拓展,均与原著相去甚远。可以说,张爱玲凌厉和孤清都被李安温情和从众所化解,影片仍应是“李安制造”。 Zhang Ailing novel characters and stories maverick, never suitable for the public, and the movie is precisely the public art.
