As a genre of comedy,situation is developed to a high level in western countries.As a introduced art form,China takes references from western(esp.America)situation comedies.With the practice and modification,Chinese situation comedy gradually grows characteristics of its own.This thesis attempts to discuss the development of Chinese situation comedy as well as its limitations and expect a promising future for the advancement for Chinese situation comedy.
