在不久前结束的第25届世界大学生夏季运动会上,中国大学生体育代表团取得了22枚金牌,金牌总数列第二位,这是继2003年由教育部开始直接组团以来,中国大学生体育代表团取得的又一优异成绩。作为本届大运会中国大学生代表团执行团长的中国大学生体育协会专职副主席杨立国总结本届大运会时表示:“大量年轻的学生运动员参赛是本届大运会中国代表团的一大特点,而他们中的八成都是首次参加大运会。我们的目标不是夺得多少奖牌,而是希望有更多高校自己培养的运动员参与到这一世界最高水平的学生类赛事中。同时,展现中国大学生的朝气和风采。”毋庸置疑,2009年夏天的贝尔格莱德,见证了中国大学生体育的光荣与梦想。与此同时,在党中央国务院的关心支持下,全国亿万青少年阳光体育运动正在我国校园中如火如荼地开展起来。这些校园体育明星也成为广大学生的运动榜样,而各级各类学校体育竞赛活动也为广大青少年提供了热爱体育、参与体育的精彩舞台。在欢欣鼓舞的时刻,本刊特约刊登杨立国撰写的《学习实践科学发展观调研报告》,从中去深度解析阳光体育工程与学生体育竞赛的关系,为学校体育的蓬勃发展献言献策。
