植物生活的过程,是与外界环境不断地进行物质交换,即新陈代谢的过程。它包括同化作用和异化作用两个方面。桑树的光合作用,进行物质生产,是属于同化方面,而呼吸作用是分解体内有机物,释放能量过程,属于新陈代谢的异化方面。植物的各种生理活动必须靠呼吸作用释放能量得以推动,所以呼吸作用贯穿于植物生活的始终。了解呼吸作用与桑树生命活动的关系,在栽桑养蚕上,具有重要意义。
The process of plant life is the continuous exchange of material with the external environment, that is, the process of metabolism. It includes two aspects of assimilation and alienation.
