在人类跨入新千年之际,以和平与发展为主旋律的世界,急遽地演绎出局部的恐怖与战争,这样的开局促使人们走进历史的深处。在整个世界格局并不太平的新世纪,在惨绝人寰的南京大屠杀64周年祭日前夕,本刊特邀著名的抗日老战士、历史学家、社会学家和中学教师,聚会全国重点文物保护单位———上海市青浦区重固镇福泉山遗址,来反思给中国人民带来无穷灾难的日本军国主义侵华战争。学者们伫立福泉山巅,遥望先民创造的数千年华夏文明,耳畔仿佛响起悠远的历史钟声……第二次世界大战的两大战争策源地之一的日本,至今不肯向受害国致歉、赔偿,其右翼势力却疯狂地煽动复活军国主义,部分政府内阁成员带头参拜靖国神社,甚至在政府通过的历史教科书中向后代掩盖侵略罪行……这一切不得不引起我们的高度警觉!由此,我们必须重视总结历史经验,以对历史高度负责的精神编写好历史教科书,加强爱国主义和历史唯物主义史观的教育,从而使我们的后代永志不忘中华民族那段腥风血雨的痛史。哲人云:一个忘却历史的民族,是没有希望的民族。为了一个伟大民族的传承和复兴,我们不仅要重视对后代的历史教育,而且要升华对人类文明的认识:希望世人保护全人类的共同价值,拒绝一切战争和暴力,让世界上最珍贵的人生的价值,永远沐浴在太阳的光?
