王尚德,男,汉族,1917年1月生,上海市松江区人。1937年毕业于国立浙江大学外文系,任教大专及高中外语60余年,1979年退休。继续在社区执教书法,到2006年为止。尚德先生自幼爱好诗词书画,在其父各书法家王子彝先生教导下,以颜柳为基础,植根篆隶,上追钟五,旁及诸家。尤善二王、怀素张旭、殚精学习、虽老弗衰,今八十余年矣,犹津津乐道。尚德先生继承父志,乐助邻里,不计报酬,社会重之。自1982年起,参加诗文书画社会活动,入编获奖,不计其数,不断要求上进。入编书法作品,见于:《世界当代书画艺术家真迹博览大典》、《世界书画艺术铭录》、《迈向新世纪中华老年书画作品集》、《中国书画专家学者全集》、《中国当代著名书画家珍品选》、《华夏风采》
Wang Shangde, male, Han nationality, born in January 1917 in Songjiang District, Shanghai. He graduated from the Department of Foreign Languages of Zhejiang University in 1937, taught college and high school for more than 60 years and retired in 1979. Continue to teach calligraphy in the community until 2006. Since his childhood, Mr. Sunde loved poetry painting and calligraphy.
