在大学英语课堂教学中,教师的批评性话语占据了教师语言的很大一部分。但是,教师的批评性话语很容易伤害到学生的面子,从而影响学生英语学习的积极性。面对这一问题,本文以Brown&Levinson的积极礼貌策略为理论依据,选择其中部分的语言形式对教师的批评性话语进行尝试性探析,以期降低其话语对学生面子的威胁程度。
In college English classroom teaching, teachers’ critical discourse occupies a large part of the teacher’s language. However, the teacher’s critical discourse can easily hurt the student’s face, thus affecting the enthusiasm of students in English learning. Faced with this issue, this paper, Brown & Levinson’s positive politeness strategy as the theoretical basis, select part of the language form to try to analyze the critical discourse of teachers in order to reduce the extent of their threats to the face of the discourse.
