编者按:煤矿生产,安全为先,这是人们的常识。但在杨庄煤矿投产的初期,却是一个“班班有事故,月月有重伤,年年有死亡”的糟糕局面,生产一直达不到设计能力,经营更是连年亏损,被省煤炭工业局列为重点整顿矿井。九○年新班子上任后,从建立健全安全制度入手,不断加大安全投入,提高干部职工素质,并创造性地拓展安全工作的支护面,终于使企业摆脱了困境,安全状况逐年好转,经济效益逐步提高,被省政府命名为“山东省安全生产先进单位”。短短几年的时间,怎么会发生如此大的变化,这个过程令人深思。这里编发的这篇稿子,有关领导认为“是他们用血泪写就的总结”,也是“一个条件最差、后进变先进的典型”,很值得大家一读。
