NHK技术研究所与东芝电气公司共同研究了一种输出功率为10KW的密封外腔型四腔速调管,该管用于超高频电视和调频广播。研究过程中,技术研究所负责管子的电气设计,东芝公司负责制造工艺。最近,试制工作已大致完成,并定名为1V10。本文中除电气设计概念、制造技术、有代表性的工作试验结果外,还叙述了试验管的陶瓷窗的击穿试验、调制间隙的放电现象、阴极部分的热变形、测定速调管真空度的实用方法等。速调管的特性测定方面,由于校正设计方法的精密测定以及噪声、频带特性的测定工作尚未进行,故只对直流状态、高频工作状态下的一般特性作了说明。这种速调管最初设计在670MC时输出功率为10KW,以后进一步研究陶瓷窗等的结果,在460—690 MC的频率范围内可获得20KW的输出功率。
