山东师范大学长清湖校区图书馆于2015年6月17日启用,建筑主体呈“八本书”造型,建筑面积5.1万平方米,作为校园八大景观之一,被誉为“天地书声”图书馆。按照成为学校信息资源中心、读者学习中心和学术与文化交流中心的定位,图书馆设有八大空间,分别是读者学习空间、学术与学习研修空间、综合服务空间、信息共享与创客空间、展览交流空间、特藏阅览空间、齐鲁文化展示空间、中外文化交流空间;六大书库,分别是特藏书库、齐鲁文化专库、外文书库、样本书库、师大文库和基藏书库,另建有咖啡厅、书吧等服务设施,设计容纳纸质藏书200万
