1988年7月21日,中国地球物理学会在北京科学会堂举行学术报告会,以纪念中国地球物理学会成立40周年、《地球物理学报》创刊40周年。200多名地球物理科技工作者冒着滂沱大雨参加了大会。 中国地球物理学会是我国较早成立的学会之一,在国内外有较高的声誉。在40年前成立时,只不过是一个志同道合的地球物理工作者联谊会,唯一的工作是出版《地球物理学报》,那时正是气象研究
On July 21, 1988, the Chinese Geophysical Society held an academic report at the Beijing Science Hall to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the founding of the China Geophysical Society and the 40th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese Journal of Geophysics. More than 200 geophysical scientists took the torrential rain to attend the conference. The Chinese Geophysical Society is one of the earliest institutes established in China and has a high reputation both at home and abroad.
