阜康断裂带西段经历多期构造运动,发育复杂的断裂系统,使断裂的识别和构造建模较为困难。以断层相关褶皱理论为基础,分3步建立其三维构造模型:利用地质、测井和地震资料,对山前褶皱带中地震剖面空白带进行地层及地层倾角标定;对标定的地震剖面进行等倾角区划分和轴面分析,对全区骨架剖面进行几何学分析,以确定构造模式;进行二维、三维联合地震解释,将解释数据利用EarthVision软件建立全区的三维立体模型。研究结果表明,该区平面上发育东西向或近东西向展布的断裂系统,纵向上有2套构造层,其中阜康断裂与甘河子断裂之间的掩伏构造和岩性圈闭是油气勘探的有利区域。
