酒是陈年的好,这一点中外皆然。但是,洋酒白兰地用葡萄酿制而成,它在酿酒的时间上要讲究年份,同时又要讲“最佳成熟度”,这与国酒有所不同。最近,笔者在法国马爹利酒厂参观时听酿酒师讲,经过蒸馏的酒要在橡木桶中存放大致40年至100年。 法国人讲究出酒的年份,因此,对我们这些来自中国大陆的客人,布置了一次郑重其事品尝百年老酒的场面。一张长长的酒台上,分两拨摆好盛放了老酒的杯子,还分别竖上“1840”、“1875”的字佯。当我们品完这两种酒之后,酒厂的汤姆斯先生还向我们每人发一张由酒厂总裁柏力·马爹利签署的品尝百年老酒的大幅证书。
Wine is good for old age. This is both Chinese and foreign. However, the wine brandy is brewed from grapes. It must pay attention to the vintage during the time of winemaking, and at the same time, it must say “best maturity”, which is different from national wine. Recently, when the author visited the Martell Winery in France, he listened to winemakers and said that distilled wine should be stored in oak barrels for approximately 40 to 100 years. The French people pay attention to the year of wine. Therefore, for those of us from mainland China, we have arranged a scene of solemnly tasting a century-old wine. On a long wine table, there are two sets of glasses that hold the old wine, and the words “1840” and “1875” are also erected. When we finished the two wines, the winery’s Mr. Toms also sent each of us a large certificate of tasting 100-year-old wine signed by the winery president Bailey Martell.
