鼻渊是祖国医学的名称,现代医学称为慢性鼻炎,是一种常见的多发病。此病多罹于感冒,急性鼻炎迁延而来,与职业也有密切关系。如化学,物理因素的刺激,在灰尘条件下工作,烟草工人,水上作业,气候变化都是致病因素。鼻渊患者用手挖鼻,嗜酒,抽烟等习惯都会使病情加重。此病一年四季皆有,特别是冬春两季,夏秋之交气候变化无常时急性发作较多。经久不愈则会引起头昏,头痛,容易反复感冒,併发咽喉疼痛,给病人带来很大痛苦,也影响正常工作学习和劳动。
