People have been working for the preparation of macroscopic polymer single crystal and hard to explore. For many years, the polymers produced were either amorphous or semi-crystalline. In the 1950s Keller had a major breakthrough in micron-scale polyethylene wafers grown from dilute solutions (<0.01%), and then almost all of the crystallizable polymers gave similar wafers with folded chains perpendicular to the wafer Structure, the folded part of the chain destroyed the three-dimensional crystal order, the crystal structure is not complete. Thus, the appearance of wafers such as polyethylene is still not macro macromolecules of the polymer. Even though the folding chain structure of the crystalline polymer is so common, in a period of time it is thought that there is no complete single crystal of polymer.
